JOY GARRETT Dallas teener 45 Here’s an indie record from 1963, when the was the eighteen year old winner of the ‘Miss Fort Worth.’ This single pairs up “First Moments of Love” and “I Need Your Love Tonight.” She didn’t stop there, the competitive Ms. Garrett wanted to get into television and films and in time she was a singer with the Ted Weems Orchestra for a while, appeared in some musical revues in the late ‘60s and by 1965 was on the TV soap ‘Days of our Lives’ followed by a run on ‘The Young And The Restless’ in 1973. This single comes in a small run sleeve where the image is simply screened onto a white envelope with the flap trimmed off. It’s on Bounce Records. CONDITION: NEAR MINT !
